Help older neighbors prepare with NeighborReady
An older neighbor shouldn’t have to face a power outage wondering who they can call or whether they have what they need.
MCM Home Maintenance is the founding community partner of NeighborReady Network, a new community project starting around Clarksville, Jeffersonville and New Albany. Our first focus is helping older adults and caregivers get prepared.
We want to help people make a simple household plan, check their basic supplies, write down important contacts and get to know someone nearby they can turn to.
We’ve launched a $3,500 fundraiser to help pay for preparedness supplies, easy-to-read guides, local outreach, volunteer coordination and the costs of getting the project started. Donations will be tracked separately from MCM customer work, and the fundraiser page explains the full spending plan.
If this is the kind of support you’d want for your parents, grandparents or an older neighbor, please help us get it started. A donation of any size is appreciated. Sharing the page or offering your time or a useful skill helps too.

NeighborReady is still in its founding stage. This is a personal fundraiser for the project; we don’t currently have 501(c)(3) status, and donations are not being offered as tax-deductible charitable contributions.
